Wartorn is a fantasy real-time strategy (RTS) roguelite game that I worked on during my time at Stray Kite Studios. I was one of 2 technical designers on the project, and as we are a small team I ended up working on pretty much everything in the game. My main contributions were on unit and ability design, from pitches to full implementation and polish, the preview and range viewfinder features used for ability casting, and on boss fight design and implementation, including AI scripting.
Wartorn was created in Unreal 5. I used Blueprint, the Gameplay Ability System, and the level editor.
